Sides
Coleslaw: Served in a white ceramic bowl with a large serving spoon. Its crisp colors pop against the more neutral tones of the pulled pork.
Cornbread: Piled high in a basket lined with a gingham cloth, the soft, golden-yellow squares ready to be grabbed.
Mac and Cheese: A cast iron skillet brimming with gooey, creamy pasta, topped with crispy breadcrumbs, making the table feel warm and homey.
Baked Beans: Served in a vintage-style casserole dish, their dark, glossy look complements the richness of the pork.
Grilled Corn on the Cob: Lined up on a rustic wooden cutting board, each ear glistening with melted butter and a sprinkle of parsley, ready for guests to grab and bite into.
Sweet Potato Fries: Presented in a cone-shaped wire basket, standing tall next to small ramekins of dipping sauces like chipotle mayo or ketchup.
Roasted Vegetables: Spread across a rustic tray, these colorful, caramelized veggies add an earthy, home-cooked vibe to the table.
Toppings
Carolina Slaw: Presented in a smaller glass bowl with tongs, the slaw’s bright colors invite guests to add a crisp, tangy crunch to their pork.
Pickled Onions: Bright pink pickled onions are served in a small mason jar or clear bowl with a spoon, their vibrant color adding a pop of brightness to the setting.
Jalapeños: A small white dish filled with either fresh or pickled jalapeño slices adds an option for those who want a spicy kick.
Avocado Slices: Arranged neatly on a platter, the creamy, green slices look elegant and fresh, ready to be added on top of the pork.
Cheddar Cheese: Shredded or sliced cheddar is served on a simple cutting board, next to a grater for added rustic charm. This invites people to sprinkle a bit of sharp cheese over their pulled pork.
Other Serving Ideas
Pulled Pork Nachos: A large tray of tortilla chips piled with shredded pork, melted cheese, and a drizzle of sour cream, with jalapeños and cilantro sprinkled over the top. It's colorful and casual, a fun, sharable dish.

Pulled Pork Pizza: A thin-crust pizza, pre-sliced, is placed on a stone pizza board. Topped with BBQ sauce, pork, and melted cheese, the pizza’s slight char from the oven makes it look gourmet but approachable.
Pulled Pork Salad: This is presented on a large, elegant platter, a fresh bed of greens with a hearty mound of pulled pork in the center. Corn, avocado, and tomato add pops of color, while a light vinaigrette is drizzled over the top.
Loaded tater tots: Golden, crispy tater tots topped with tender pulled pork, drizzled with spicy mayo, and sprinkled with furikake for an umami crunch. It's a perfect balance of savory, creamy, and crunchy in every bite.
