Ingredients
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Instructions
Step 1
Warm Olive Oil in a large lidded pot. Once fragrant add tomatoes with juice and bring to a boil.
Step 2
Add spices, sugar and vinegar and stir. Bring back to a boil and then allow to simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 3
Using an immersion blender puree sauce. Bring back to a simmer for another 10 minutes.
