Here is an irresistible mash up of a churro and a cinnamon roll. And the best part? you get to choose between two dips. Go classic with a powdered sugar icing for that cinnamon roll feel, or dip into creamy melted Nutella.
Note: Before you make these, take your frozen puff pastry out of the freezer and place into the fridge for 2 hours in order for it to thaw.

Ingredients
Twists
½ - 1 Frozen Pastry Dough (I use Dufour’s)
½ Cup Butter, softened not melted
½ Cup Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Cinnamon
⅛ Tsp Salt
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
½ Cup Sugar
1-2 Tbsp Cinnamon
Dips
Nutella
½ Cup Powdered Sugar
1-2 Tbsp Water
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
Step 1
First make the filling. Add all ingredients into a stand mixer and mix until well combined. Set aside.
Step 2
Once your dough has thawed, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Decide if you want to use the whole box of puff pastry or half. For this recipe I used half. Cut the dough length wise if you are using half. Roll the dough out evenly then spread the filling. Cut the dough into strips vertically making approximately ten strips.
Step 3
Twist each strip tightly and lay them onto the baking sheet lined with parchment. If you don’t have enough room on the sheet use a second baking sheet. This is the important part. In order for them to stay twisted you must twist them tightly. Otherwise they will unravel in the oven. Bake for 22 minutes at 385.
Step 4
While the twists are baking make the dips. Remove the metal seal from the Nutella jar and microwave the Nutella for 30 seconds. Spoon the liquified Nutella into a ramekin or other small serving dish.
Step 5
Next, add powdered sugar, water, and vanilla to a small dish and mix. This will be the second dip for the twists.
Step 6
Finally, combine the cinnamon and sugar to make the cinnamon sugar.
Step 7
Once the twists are finished baking, allow them to cool a little and then roll them in the cinnamon sugar.
Step 8
Place the coated warm twists on a serving dish and enjoy with the two dips. If you wish to store the twists, place them in a parchment lined container to store.
